BREKKY with Scotty Day
Daily weekday breakfast show from 7-10am Monday to Friday presented by long-time local Scotty Day.
Each morning Scotty brings locals a great mix of old and new music, interviews, comedy and community noticeboard.
The brekky show also includes national and Indigenous news updates and the regional weather forecast.

Midday special
Midday Special Show is a lunchtime show presented by Nathalia Imberlong – features local interviews and deadly music.
The show includes Nathalia’s popular segments ‘Staying Healthy in the Kimberley’ and Consumer Watch. You can hear it each Wednesday and Thursday at lunchtime from 12-2pm.

NALIJA TIME
Nalija (tea) Time is a half hour lifestyle radio show and podcast over a cup of tea. Nalija Time speaks to issues impacting the Kimberley region and beyond. From economics, politics, education, health, wellbeing, culture, land and sea, and development.
Presented by respected broadcasters Natasha Short and Mitch Torres, it features some deadly Kimberley characters. Sometimes light-hearted and other times taking a deep dive into important issues of our time.
Nalija Time is heard on radio stations around the Kimberley and Australia on the National Indigenous Radio Service (NIRS).
MUSIC – Please note that Wawili Pitjas and Peter Brandy have the rights to the background music and have given Waringarri Media permission to use it for this series.

EAST KIMBERLEY BULLETIN – WARINGARRI NEWSROOM
Waringarri Media has built a Local Newsroom and each fortnight we present our flagship local news program called ‘East Kimberley Bulletin’.
It is presented by Dabvina Toby Wright and includes reports from the Waringarri team – Nathalia Imberlong, Dale Polzin and Donny Imberlong, and draws on stories from Scotty Day’s daily brekky show.
Video episodes are aired on our website and across our main social media platforms – Facebook, YouTube and Instagram.

COUNTRY AFFAIRS
Daily weekday morning talk show from 10-11am Monday to Friday presented by West Kimberley legend Sandy Dann from Radio Goolarri in Broome. Sandy is a proud Nyul Nyul woman, who has been broadcasting for more than 30 years. Country Affairs is a magazine-style radio program that includes talk and interviews on topical issues of importance to locals across the Kimberley. It is heard across Australia on the National Indigenous Radio Service (NIRS).

Mary G Show
Weekly talk and music show between 7-10pm every Wednesday night. Mary G is a well-known and respected performer, comedian, musician and broadcaster from Broome. Her weekly show is heard around Australia on raising awareness about Aboriginal issues.

Legal Eagles
Weekly advice show on all matters to do with family law and more, aired between 11am-12 midday every Tuesday. Presented by Tawanda Mukosi and the team at Aboriginal Family Legal Services WA. All programs can he heard back on Soundcloud.

Afternoon Escape
Daily mid-afternoon show aired between 2-4pm Monday to Friday. Presented by Dabvina Toby Wright, playing a great mix of music, and features up-coming artists, targeting Kimberley and WA musicians.

Aussie Rock Drive Time Show
Daily weekday program from 4-6pm Monday to Friday, featuring a playlist of the best home-grown Aussie rock and popular music tunes of all time. Mostly all the classics but also from over the past few decades.

Weekend Country
Every Saturday and Sunday mornings from the crack of dawn until 12 noon. Showcases the best Aussie country from around the Kimberley and Australia, as well as overseas.

All Indigenous Music Mix
Daily from 7pm-12midnight. All Indigenous bands and musicians from across the Kimberley and country. A mix of classics and new, as well as some country and traditional in language.

Saturday Night Party Music Show
Playing some of the best discos and party tunes every Saturday night from 6-10pm.

Weekly half an hour news program from 12.30-1pm on Fridays. The program features all the top news stories of the week compiled by the newsroom team at NIRS.

Spotlight
Weekly 1 hour country music show presented by Kevin Walsh showcasing an Aussie artist/band or album. Heard between 12-1pm on Thursdays and Sundays.

URBAN MELTDOWN
The Urban Meltdown is a weekly radio show with a difference, featuring the most upfront and independent RnB, Soul and Urban music.
Presented by Brett Costello, an experienced announcer who has worked in both community and commercial radio for many years.
It is heard around Australia on the Community Radio network, and on Waringarri Radio between 6-7pm on Wednesday nights and repeated from 5-6pm on Sundays.

THE LOCAL SOURCE
The CBAA weekly AMRAP program from the Community Radio Network. All Australian music from the AMRAP music catalog, can be heard between 6-7pm on Monday nights and repeated 4-5pm on Saturdays.

Australian Music is Bloody Great
Weekly show aired on Waringarri Media between 5.30-6pm on Thursdays and 4.30-5pm on Sundays. It’s produced by the team at Amrap – the Australian Music Radio Airplay Project – an initiative which aims to generate airplay opportunities for new, contemporary Australian music on community radio.

Aussie Music Weekly
Weekly show aired on Waringarri Media between 6-7pm on Tuesdays and repeated 5-6pm on Saturdays. Focusing on new local and independent Australian music and giving much needed exposure to artists who do not gain airplay through mainstream media. Presented by Noddy, features a mix of rock to pop, blues to folk, hip hop and funk.
