David Menzel has been re-elected for another four year term as President of the Shire of Wyndham/East Kimberley (SWEK) at local government elections held on Saturday 21 October 2023.

Mr Menzel received 683 votes compared to his only revival Keith Wright who received 273 votes out of a total of 956 overall regiestered votes (71% compared to 29%).

David Menzel spoke with Waringarri Media’s Brekky host Scotty Day on his regular monthly segment (8.30am on Wednesday mornings following each monthly Council meeting held on Tuesday nights).

Scotty congratulated Mr Menzel, who also attended Waringarri Media’s big Revival Party on Friday 20th of October 2023.
