Waringarri Media has some exciting new trainee positions available right now.
Are you interested in media and aged 16 to 30? We can fully train you in radio and video production, and the use of various media platforms.
We also need an admin trainee to help us around the office, accounts and record keeping.
No experience is needed for these positions. We will mentor and train you to work with us for as many days as you can work – flexible.
You will be paid at award rate depending on your age.

JOB DESCRIPTIONS
MEDIA TRAINEE ROLE
Role Purpose | Use an understanding of Indigenous culture, people, and community to support the media tasks of Waringarri MediaHelp Waringarri Media make content such radio ads, interviews, radio shows, videos, and social media posts |
Role Requirements | Basic computer skills Some understanding of the Microsoft Office applications like Word and Excel Medium literacy levels Strong communication skills to present and record things like time of day, news, weather, interviews, and voice pieces |

ADMIN TRAINEE ROLE
Role Purpose | Use an understanding of Indigenous culture, people, and community to support the administrative tasks of Waringarri MediaEnsure Waringarri Media office runs smoothly |
Role Requirements | Managing relationships by responding to queries, requests, meetings, phone calls, and complaints Maintaining strong communication skills with everyone Administrative support such as managing time sheets, invoicing, filing, and book keeping Some understanding of the Microsoft Office applications like Word and Excel Managing databases by keeping folders and documents scanned and organised |
