NAIDOC WEEK 2023
Waringarri Media has long been a strong supporter of NAIDOC Week, held across Australia in July each year to celebrate and recognise the history, culture and achievements of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples.
NAIDOC Week is an opportunity for all Australians to learn about First Nations cultures and histories and participate in celebrations of the oldest, continuous living cultures on earth.
This years’ event was held from Sunday, July 2nd through to Sunday, July 9th, 2023 with the theme – ‘For Our Elders’.
Waringarri Media went out to cover a number of events in Kununurra and put together this highlights video which has been over 6,500 times as of 1 October 2023.
